In September 2024 the CQC conducted a follow-up assessment after the practice received a rating of 'requires improvement overall' in 2023. At this most recent assessment, the CQC found safety was well-managed. Patients told the CQC that the Practice was caring and responsive to their needs. The CQC found the practice was well-led, having effective regularly reviewed and updated governance systems, policies, and procedures.

The CQC found safety was well managed, staff and leaders took seriously all concerns that arose which were well documented. When things went wrong, staff acted to ensure people remained safe. They saw infection control and cleaning measures had recently been updated and actions had been taken to improve and manage their processes. Safeguarding processes were clearly embedded, and staff had received the training specific for their role and could identify the processes to follow when dealing with any safeguarding concerns.

Staff regularly reviewed patientβs care and worked with other services to achieve this.
